  • Ben Woods wins Tait Scholarship
    Ben Woods, an apprentice with Tetracom, has been selected as the first recipient of the Sir Angus Tait Memorial Scholarship in 2010. The award is administered by ARCIA on behalf of contributors Tait and Westwick-Farrow and is intended to encourage a student to actively pursue study leading to a career in radio communications engineering at an Advanced Diploma level or higher.
  • Daniels Electronics named VIATeC Technology company of the year
    Daniels Electronics, international supplier of radio base stations, repeaters and paging transmitters for public safety and natural resource applications, was named Technology Company of the Year at the annual Victoria Advanced Technology (VIATeC) awards banquet held on Thursday 13 May.

    TR Bearcom has been named the 2009 Motorola Australasian Dealer of the Year.
  • Terry Daniels wins award
    The chairman of the Daniels Electronics board, Terry G Daniels, is this year's recipient of the Radio Club of America's Fred M Link Award, "For his substantial contribution to the advancement and development of Land Mobile Radio and Communications."
