The 3020 series of PXI digital RF signal generators is compact at 3U high and is PXI modular with an integrated dual-channel arbitrary waveform generator. The instruments’ performance is matched to the needs of RF test systems for design verification and manufacturing up to 6 GHz.
They provide RF output power control ranging from -121 to +17 dBm with modulation bandwidths up to 90 MHz.
The generator modules are designed for use together with a low-noise, agile local oscillator input from the 3010 series RF synthesiser module.
The performance of the signal generators makes them suitable for generating the modulated signals for digital radio communications test applications as well as basic AM and FM modulation and CW applications.
Their level accuracy, repeatability and switching speed make them suitable for high-volume automated production test.
The IQCreator signal generation application enables the design of digital modulation and other complex waveforms. Comprehensive modulation capability is provided including internal analog AM/FM, digital and IQ vector modulation modes.
