Radio disturbance accreditation

Rohde & Schwarz says it has the first laboratory in Australia to be accredited to perform measurements of radio disturbance and immunity testing receivers to the AS NZS CISPR 16.1.1 . 'Radio Disturbance Measurement Apparatus' Standard.

The company's calibration laboratory already complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, AS 3912.1 and ISO 10012.1 in performing a range of tests.

These include testing DC voltmeters, frequency counters, waveform measuring instruments, signal sources, radio transmission measuring equipment, spectrum analysers, RF and microwave components, power meters and communication systems.

NATA has extended the scope of accreditation of the R&S laboratory to include tests to Class 1.47.04, bands A, B, C and D, as specified in CISPR 16.1.1.
